Five Keys Adult School
Open to California residents (16 and up), Five Keys Adult School partners with city agencies, workforce development programs, and Community Based Organizations. WASC-accredited.
New Opportunities Organization
Adults 18+ can obtain their high school diploma through classroom-based or independent study classes. Offers several pathways to meet the demands of busy adults, including independent study and English language development.
Montebello Community Adult School
A WASC-accredited program that offers both a teacher-directed and independent studies program, which allows students to earn a high school diploma with a standards-based curriculum.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empowers learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD Academy)

Leamos Literacy Program
This pre-ESL easy-to-use online literacy course teaches non-literate Spanish-speaking adults to read and write in Spanish.
LearningExpress Library and Brainfuse HelpNow
LearningExpress Library helps people improve core academic skills, pass the GED, prepare for college, and more. Users can access practice tests, tutorials, and eBooks for school and career, including college entrance, civil service, and citizenship exams. Brainfuse HelpNow connects people who want to learn with experts who love to teach. Adults can prepare for new jobs with coaching, resume prep, and interview practice in JobNow. A 24-hour writing lab provides constructive feedback to writing submissions from all ages. Connect with an expert today!

While the enrollment phase of this program is currently paused, the commitment to our community’s success never stops. We continue to proudly support our alumni and all adult learners with robust post-graduation resources—including targeted job training, professional skills development, and a wealth of digital and in-person tools designed to help you thrive in your career and education.
